Using this website

These terms apply to use of the Authorlly website and inquiries made through forms, chat, email, or phone. Paid work is governed by the project proposal and service agreement accepted for that engagement.

Services and project scope

Authorlly provides paid author, editorial, design, formatting, publishing preparation, audiobook support, and book marketing services. The proposal identifies the included work, deliverables, fees, timing, revision allowances, and responsibilities. Additional work requires agreement on any changed scope and fees.

Complimentary editorial review

The complimentary offer is a full-manuscript editorial assessment, rather than a full edit. Our team arranges manuscript submission and explains the review process. Paid editorial or production work is a separate engagement. Requesting a review does not transfer ownership of your manuscript.

Payments, cancellations and refunds

Payment schedules, cancellation terms, refund eligibility, and delivery milestones are specified in your accepted proposal or service agreement. Review those terms before payment. If the scope changes, the quote and delivery schedule may need to be revised.

Your responsibilities

Provide accurate project information and confirm that you own or have permission to use submitted manuscripts, images, and other content. Review project materials within agreed timeframes and comply with applicable laws and selected platform requirements.

Intellectual property

You remain responsible for the originality, legality, and ownership of submitted material. Submission for an inquiry or review does not itself give Authorlly ownership of your work. Rights to deliverables, licenses, source files, ISBN or imprint arrangements, and account access are defined in the project agreement.

Platforms and commercial outcomes

Retailers, publishing platforms, distributors, and advertising providers apply their own policies and make their own decisions. Authorlly does not guarantee platform acceptance, sales, rankings, reviews, bestseller status, bookstore placement, or commercial returns.

Acceptable website use

Do not submit unlawful, misleading, or harmful content; interfere with website functionality; attempt unauthorized access; or use the site for fraud, spam, or impersonation. Do not copy or republish website content without permission.

Website information and liability

Website information provides general descriptions of services. Project-specific commitments are set out in the accepted agreement. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Authorlly is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from website use or third-party platform decisions.
